There are a ton of great products that drop every week — and we’re here, as always, to keep you up to date on the best of them. Each week, we’ll be rounding up a short list of our favorite product drops from the last seven days for you to shop as you sip your morning coffee or take a quick break from work (trust, it’s the only list you need for staying up to date on these things).
This week brings the launch of Glossier’s new foundation, a Disney version of Samsung’s Frame TV and Dyson’s just-dropped holiday collection of hair tools.
Shop our favorite new releases below, but be fast — they’re prone to selling out.
Samsung’s The Frame is already pretty magical — it blends into your home to display art when it’s not in use — but it’s just gotten more so, thanks to the help of Disney. The two giants teamed up for an exclusive Disney100 edition of The Frame TV featuring custom bezels in the centenary’s signature color, a platinum silver metal, as well as 100 pieces of Disney art content to display and a Disney-edition remote. It’s available in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models.
It’s hard to believe we’re thinking about the holidays, but here we are in late August and Dyson has just unveiled its holiday gift sets — and the new bright blue and blush colorway is a real eye-catcher. You can find the new colorway on the Supersonic, our favorite high-end hair dryer.
Glossier launched its Stretch concealer way back in 2016, but now a version of it is here for all over your face with the brand-new Stretch Fluid Foundation as well as a Stretch Brush for easy-on application. The light-to-medium coverage formula comes in 32 shades as well as an interesting ratio for its formula: It’s 11% pigment to 89% skin care base, so your skin gets a little boost while it’s looking so good too.
Allbirds just added a new sneaker to the collection with the debut of the Courier, a vintage-y sneaker that’s made for everyday wear — and can even dress up a little. The smoothly colorblocked trainer is available in men’s and women’s fits and five different colorways. And of course the Couriers are just as sustainable as the rest of the collection: Think organic cotton canvas, eucalyptus tree fiber and recycled polyester fabrication.
Fish spatulas can really help when it comes to lifting a long filet out of a pan or baking dish — otherwise, they can drop right off the ends of shorter surfaces. Here stylishly to the rescue is Material, whose new Fish Spatula boasts a razor-thin head for getting under baked-on skin, and two gorgeous colorways in silver and gold. At $25, it’s made with stainless steel so it stays sturdy underneath the fish too.
You might know Summersalt for its much-loved swimwear, but its loungewear is really something to cozy up in — especially with cooler temps ahead. Now the brand’s just launched a Monogram Shop to personalize your comfy sweatshirts and pajamas. Fifteen styles are available for monogramming one to three characters, and each monogram costs $10. It’s embroidered in Summersalt’s signature font and a color chosen to complement the shade of your loungewear — but control freaks fear not, previews are available beforehand too. (P.S. It takes five days, so build that in if you’re gifting a piece last minute.)
Target’s just dropped a fourth iteration of its Future Collective collaborations, this time with Atlanta-based style creative Reese Blutstein of @double3xposure. The joint collection features more than 100 pieces across apparel and accessories in sizes from XXS through 4X and 00 through 30 — with most pieces under $35. Expect vintage-inspired pieces in pastels and neutrals with healthy doses of ’70s, ’80s and ’90s aesthetics.
Tower 28’s sensitive skin care line is getting its first concealer. The Swipe Serum Concealer is all about buildable medium coverage paired with a serum-like formula. It boasts the lightweight texture of a serum with the coverage of high-performance makeup. The gliding texture means it goes on smoothly, not gloopy or caky. Hyaluronic acid and centella asiatica leaf extract helps hydrate, calm and soothe sensitive skin. The formula is available in 20 shades and is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, silicone-free, noncomedogenic and derm-approved, plus it’s in accordance with the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance guidelines.
Blueland’s sustainability focus has just gotten even sharper with a collection inspired by US national parks. Four scents are available in the brand’s bestselling refill tablets for hand soap. Glacier is all about bergamot, frost and “alpine meadows,” and Zion makes your hands smell like amber, palo santo and red cedar with a little vetiver. Sequoia smells like eucalyptus, pine and a hint of nutmeg, and last up is Joshua Tree: cactus blossom, patchouli and vanilla. Every kit sold means $1 donated to the National Park Foundation. If you need a glass Forever Bottle or a Forever Tin, they’re available in limited-edition colorways to go with the collection too. A set of four refill packs is $25, or you can get the full set (four refill packets, tin and bottle) for $28.
Brooklinen’s Organic Collection just got a whole lot bigger, thanks to the addition of textured quilt sets and throw blankets in vanilla and blue marina (to coordinate with the existing sheets colors), plus new sheets and towels inspired by the mushroom decor moment happening right now. You’ll also find new shades of the organic sheets in Portobello and Moss, plus Portobello towels and bathmats for post-shower coziness.
Tea tree has long been a go-to for treating zits and acne, and Starface’s newest pimple patch harnesses the power of the natural ingredient in one of the patches your skin loves and your zits hate. The hydrocolloid star patches in vivid green are combined with tea tree oil to treat and deswell spots by removing excess oil and unclogging pores.
TCL’s latest supersize TV clocks in at a frankly wild 98 inches, and its newest S5 model is perfect for anyone who takes their streaming and sports very, very seriously. The S5 offers all the features you’d expect at this price point, including 120Hz native panel refresh rate, HDR Ultra with Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos and a sleek FullView metal bezel-less design. It’s available for preorder at TCL’s site now.
Cozy Earth is going beyond textiles and home to introduce a luxury skin care line for a glowing visage. The line is called Fount Society, which centers on a five-step routine, including Gel Cleanser, Balancing Mist, Hydrating Serum, Brightening Vitamin C Oil and Water Cream Moisturizer. You can also get it all as a bundle for $270. The company is transparent about ingredients, with a “never list” as well as a list of ingredients it does use available online.
